It all began when sara went to a LAN party,in her (back then) all computuer'ish school.
a room crammed with guys playing CS except 2 screens giving away a soft light in the back.
After owning in Q3,getting my ass kicked in CS. paying around in Tribes 2. i Went to investigate. the light came from torches in the game,and two swordies ran around with Purple hats in,what they called. Pyramids Level 1.
Killing odd looking Mushrooms that whined loudly on the brink of death.

I asked them; "what game is that?"
"Ragnarok Online." they answered.
"Its free you know." they added.

I got the URL,went to my laptop and downloaded it.
Made a mage,Sens magic is cool.
Got my ass raped by,Pink bloobs and Green maggots.

After such a thrilling experience I was hooked.
I'm a proud Beta 1 Player,And I'm still Playing.

In other words. I HAVE NO LIFE AMAGAD!!~!~!~!
Na Just messing with yah,Ive taken alot of breaks through my 3-4 years of rag.

Then I stopped when they went p2p...
but went back eventually and stopped again few times...
I think I found out about the game online somehow... dont remember ;D

Once upon a time, around the month of July 2004 I started ro with my first char being mage. (I like spells coz they are cool o.O).

My housemate introduce me to RO caused i was bored with gunbound. He started playing first and like when i was in his room he was with his swordy chopping elder willow.

For me i thought it was a game for kids. Well from the place i come from it is a game for kids(MRO) and also a corrupted one with bots running around. I didn't start on MRO and instead of IRO cause i am currently studying in Australia (university). IRO was cool a year back or so but nowadays there's bunch of idiots running around and that really irritates me.

So yeah after that i got dragged into this game till today even though my housemate has already quit ro like just recently.

I feel the game is coming to an end for me but also on the other hand i don't want to leave the friends i have already met in ro so that's actually the main reason i am still playing this game. I have quit all my char where the remaining one would be only my main char.

yea garmeo also started playing since beta2 back then i can mvp with my merchant so cool but i stop playing for like 3 months then come back for 4 month then stop again etc..

same as abs i dont really play other characters other than my sin ... i probably would stop for a while after i get him to lvl 99

ABS!!1 u play gunbound too?? play with me !! i kick your ass with my boomer! rWAR well.. boomer is the only bot i know how to use hahah but i have to redownload gb... u know abs.. pplz on gunbound doesn't speak english that's why i stop playing lol and it lags alot!!!

It was around the December of 2002, I was roleplaying in MSN groups and a friend of mine was talking about an online game she just LOVED and forced me to get it. She hates the game now but I still love it. ;o;

Way back when the world was still young I was told about this game from a friend that was addicted to it and told me to download it. At that time I was on a 56k modem with a 2 hour cut off so there was no chance for me to download it.

A few weeks later I got a couple of discs with anime and a certain english beta disc on it in which I uploaded onto the computer.

I emerged in the dessert (yes it was spelt like that) town of Morroc and told my friend, it only took him 20 minutes to get to me because at that time there were no Kafra warps and the Aco skill didn't work then.

I then go off training with my mentor keeping an eye on me, I spot a pink blob type creature in which my mentor tells me to attack the pink blob, I ask "How?" and he tells me to click on it in which I did. I hit it, it hit me, it hit me again, and again, and again until I was sent crashing to the floor.

Ah memories~

I started RO on it's first Beta testing, a few weeks after Izlude was put on the servers. At that time cards didn't do anything, no second classes and you'd get stuck in Culvert for weeks because the servers kept going down, trapping your character.

Annoying as it may seem, The best times where when I was a noob and there was no warping. Exploring and going everywhere was so fun. It's not like there was hunter flys, rideword, and mimics everywhere. There was 1 mimic in pyrimids 4 and underground 2. That was the only places they spawned.

I started playing in like 10th grade, so 4 years ago when it was free and there were a bajillion people on every server. I had the shittiest PC known to man and it took me literally 2+ minutes to get through each loading screen.

Yeahhh it sucked.
