my opinion is that not everyone is the same, so how their personality in game is can be different. Its the enviroment that shapes ones personality if some people play the game long enough they can really get into the game create alter egos heck some guys use female chars and some girls use male chars. People can change their personality cuz its just game its a source of entertainment you do things u dont normally do sometimes. Personality wise there are people who are good actors but the longer u know them the more u know how they really are. This is a really complex topic ~_~ i can talk for hours

I agree with sami about the enviorment that they are in...I act the way i am in game and rl..It is true that most ppl talk more than they would in RL...and it also
depends on the situation too.

I know most ppl like to talk, flirt, etc..but when it comes down to it...its just all empty words..

dunno if its relveant but yeah wrote this in ma blog a long time ago:

We all know that everyone`s different. skin, eyes, hair, background etc..but what really makes us..US? our personalities. when you meet new people, you`re either one of those people that is mega friendly and can start chatting out of no where and make new friends, or, just one of those people that hide and keep quiet and simply wait till someone goes up to you and start talking.

Is it usually that you would gradually become more `yourself` when you know each other better? Or do you just start out as yourself at the beginning with the this-is-what-I`m-like-and-if-you-don`t-like-it-then-that's-fine-with-me-so-push-off sort of manner?

Do u act as one person in one environment and a different person in another?

Are you actually a `weak` person on the inside, the sort where you are easily hurt and fragile? But you don't want to show it so you put on a different personality, an outer one. One your that can hide or distract your inner one, one that shows the outside world that you are `strong` and can control feelings well. You might put on this annoying act for instance or act in a care-free manner. But that outer shell of yours may give people the `wrong` impression. The impression that will stay permanently in people's minds and cant go away because you are marked as this person. A person whom people may not like to be around with, which then makes you even more upset.

So why don't you just stop all this acting and show whom YOU truly are? But this aint easy, you cant just snap your fingers and show everyone this different you. Because it may be a joke to them, or just the fact that they don't take you seriously.

So how do you do it?..Well the thing is...I really don't know..because..Well lets just say that I haven't found the answer to that yet.

RawR been a while since I've looked at a Xanga site! /gg This started out as a question about how we act in RO is the same or not as in RL.To now involving how open one's personality may be, and how we communicate with the type of personality that we have to include our..yea...thats enough. i act the same in rag that i would in real life. I like to joke alot if you havnt noticed, and thats what i do in rl too. alot of the times ppl dont take me seriously but i dont really care most of the time =P

i act toooootally different in RO than i do in RL.. i guess i'm sort of 'braver' on RO than i am in real life, so the way i act in RO sort of reflects what i WOULD act like if i had the courage irl xD; o.o yeah not much to say.. heh.
