RO IS MESSED UP NOT WORKING

ok i woke up kite aimd me told me his aim wuznet working so i tried to get on mine and wuta u know mine isent either and i cant get to the RO site so if any one eles besides me and kites RO isent working lemme know

Ours (mayu and mine xP) aren't working either. Seems the official iRO page is down.

hey guys its wolfe here. Just giving you the heads up on the RO crises we're having. I just called the roadrunner service to find out whats up, and they told me the entire internet is doing reconstruction on the network. The ETA is not known, but the tech that i talked to told me that the reconstruction is outside of the ISP's network. Its basically somewhere in the in the middle of the internet route thats being reconstructed, which explains why we can't connect to iRO or their main web page, even some other sites like photobucket. Hopefully this problem can become resolved soon....... sooner rather than later ^_^

yea something about a tier 1 isp as it says on the ro site ( i accessed it from work ) n that we shuld call our isp provider or sumthn blah blah

n i cant access certain websites either so thats gay too

[about the latency issue ... check the forums in other isps ... this is happening with a number of other isps as well. Tier 1 international provider is upgrading or repairing the international link. Now if u consider that quite a few isps use the same Tier 1 provider then u will understand that its not limited to WOW its almost any online game that doesnt have a mirrored site here in OZ. So one could probably come to the assumption they use the same Tier 1 provider that some of these other isps uses and u will just have to wait for the upgrade / repair...
You've also probably noticed that the lag is 10 fold worse at night during peak hours ... Now some people then might think that someone is being a tight ass and its bottlenecking ... i would highly doubt that ... some might say that its being repaired ... possible but then u would think if its some software issue then 1. It wouldnt take this long to fix and 2. u should be getting consistent latency both in off peak and on peak times ... then again i cant really talk considering it took me 2 weeks to try and network my 4 pc's at home due to the wonderful workings of win XP and win98 incompatability issues with networking ...]
